And see this calm act,
This gathering up
Of Life, of spring water
And the Muse gliding . . ."

On strings that sing the joy
Within my soul."

§ Mountain Dulcimer Straps §
|
|
|
Almost every dulcimer player at one time or another has discovered the "fun" of strumming an instrument that slowly slides off the lap or suddenly pivots like a seesaw. Playing during such a moving experience can be difficult, to say the least.
These quick-release dulcimer straps are just the ticket to keep your dulcimer from falling off your lap. Fully adjustable, they fit just about any lap or dulcimer size. They are 1 inch wide with a maximum length of about 52 inches.
The strap can go either under your legs or behind your back. They are not designed for standing with your dulcimer suspended from your shoulders. Putting the strap under your legs provides the best stability for your instrument; it can't slip forward nor seesaw even if you play with your knees touching. |
|
Available colors include:
Black, Brown, Burgundy, Pacific Blue, Powder Blue, Royal Blue, Forest Green, Kelly Green, Teal Green, Purple, Red, and Rainbow.
Cost: $12.50 (Strap buttons not included.)
Extra long straps (over 52 inches) require a special order and cost $15. |
